1956
1956 - The Birth of Hangcha
In 1956, the Hangzhou Mechanical Repair Factory was founded, initially producing compact tools on a small scale. A few years later, in 1974, the first CZ3 forklift rolled off the production line. By 1988, Hangcha had already produced 100 units.
In 1991, the CPC3 model won a prestigious industry award. In 1995, Hangcha received its first ISO9000 certification, proving its commitment to high-quality products.
2000
2000 - The Growth of Hangcha
In 2000, Hangzhou Mechanical Repair Factory was rebranded as Hangzhou Forklift Truck Co., Ltd.. The state-owned company became fully independent, allowing it to compete more effectively. Hangcha increasingly focused on technological innovation.
2004
2004 - The Modernization of Hangcha
In 2004, Zhejiang Hangcha Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. was established. The company modernized its production facilities and expanded into international markets. Hangcha made significant investments in Research & Development (R&D) and now exclusively manufactures advanced forklifts and industrial machines.
